How Magic Carpet
Works
A certified Magic Carpet Technician will
do a "walk thru" with the homeowner
(you) and give you a detailed written
estimate of carpet cleaning to be
preformed. At that time, you can
point out visible stains and/or repairs
and inform the technician any details
you know concerning the areas in
question.
If you would like other estimates on any
of the many services we offer, the
technician will gladly assist in
providing those estimates.
The 5 Step Process of Cleaning Involves:
1.) The application of a Pre-Spray
Treatment with a Citrus Deodorizer.
This penetrates the carpet and loosens
all dirt particles to prepare the areas
for cleaning. This product is PH
safe for all Residential Carpets and
will not void any warranties. It
is also safe for Adults, Children and
Pets.
2.) After ample "dwell time" for the pre
spray, the technician will bring in 2
hoses and 1 wand into your home for
cleaning. The blue hose is the
water hose. This hose gets hot to
the touch but will not damage anything
it touches. The large orange hose
is the suction hose, this is the hose
that will carry soiled water and
contaminants into the holding tank of
the van and will be removed from your
property.
3.) Once the cleaning is completed
in each area, the technician will bring
in a turbo air mover to decrease dry
time. This air mover will be moved
around to the different rooms.
4.)Next, the technician will apply the
Teflon Treatment. This treatment
provides a protective barrier that
repels oil, soil and dirt particles from
penetrating the carpet fibers.
This process is an additional charge.
5.) Once the Teflon Treatment is
applied, the technician will groom your
carpet to give it the uniform appearance
and assure that the Teflon Treatment has
reached all areas of carpet fibers.
